Good Morning Tech Fam, here's a quick tech update for you to catch on:

What's new today: Helium (HNT) abandons its own blockchain in favor of Solana (SOL); This Diwali do your shopping from Flipkart Metaverse.

Fast-Trach Insights: Now, YouTube creators will be able to reply to comments with shorts; ISRO tests hybrid motors successfully and plans to develop new rocket propulsion technology.

The Helium community decided to go for the Solana blockchain thereby ditching its own HIP70 blockchain yesterday. Earlier it was also exploring Polygon (MATIC), Algorand (ALGO), and Ethereum (ETH), but today it ultimately chose Solana.

JPMorgan spelled some concerns about the Ethereum blockchain following the network's transition to a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, a process that was called the Merge. JPMorgan noted that the price of ether (ETH) has declined sharply. This drop was probably caused by a combination of "buy-the-rumor/sell-the-news flows specific to Ethereum's Merge event," together with widespread weakness in risky assets as a result of more hawkish central banks, the report said.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully tested a hybrid motor. This may lead to development of a new propulsion system for next launch vehicles. The Bengaluru-based space agency claimed that the 30 kN hybrid motor tested at the ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC) at Mahendragiri in Tamil Nadu is stackable and scalable.

Google-owned YouTube has allowed creators to reply to comments from their fans on their videos with Shorts on iOS devices. The company said that it heard creators' request to allow them to feature comments posted on their channels in the content on the short-form video app.

Flipkart is set to tap into the interactive experience of Metaverse, soon Indian shoppers will be able to buy products from Metaverse. The shoppers will be able to get a realistic understanding of what the product might look like.
