Amazon has also committed to a US$100 million annual budget for Twitter advertising. This action comes only days after Twitter issued an email to advertisers offering financial incentives to return to the platform. Musk also revealed that Apple had resumed advertising on Twitter fully on the platform during a Twitter Spaces exchange. This comes only a few days after Elon Musk met Apple CEO Tim Cook at Apple's headquarters. Elon Musk also thanked advertisers for returning to Twitter in a tweet. "Just a word to thank advertisers for returning to Twitter," he said in his tweet.

Advertising might be one way for Apple and Musk to reach a compromise on the 30% levy on Twitter subscriptions. Musk made several contentious remarks about Apple last week, even threatening to go to war with the corporation if the 30% levy on the App Store is not removed. There doesn't appear to be a clear answer to his situation. However, the earnings from advertising might offset some of the tax losses.

Musk's first month as Twitter's owner has seen a reduction in workers, including those responsible for content moderation, as well as incidences of spammers impersonating prominent public firms, which has alarmed the advertising sector.
