The Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) has collaborated with the e-learning platform TimesPro and announced the creation of educational programs centered around web3 technologies. This is a first-of-a-kind collaboration that will enable thousands of Indian students to learn about emerging technologies like distributed ledger technology, NFTs, metaverse, and cryptocurrencies. The popularity of Web3 has caused a massive stir in the tech industry, and now several businesses are marching toward adopting Web3 to get access to the suite of technologies that accompanies the space.
At the end of the course, participants will be issued certificates that will demonstrate their expertise from the various IITs, including Delhi, Roorkee, and Ropar. Course attendees will also have the option to learn at their own pace. TimePro's collaboration with top tech education players could offer various benefits to the Indian digital asset ecosystem. This move can also create a healthy talent pool for both local and international digital asset forums. The courses could enable more techies to move towards the emerging Web3 industry, empowering them with world-class training. As a part of this initiative, a Web 3.0 Centre of Excellence (CoE) is also being launched to develop a robust crypto ecosystem for a network of global SMEs to build a learner community.
The objective of this initiative in India is to provide students with unmatched quality of modern and new-age learning through cutting-edge programs in various Web3 technologies like blockchain, cryptocurrency, and others. These educational initiatives are some of the most futuristic technology-based courses that can advance tech aspirants towards more creative and evolving tech domains and enable them to produce more unique interactive experiences in the metaverse.
