Top 5 New Tokens Supporting Crypto Ecosystems and Real Utility in 2026

After years of tokens launching before their products had users, more projects are tying digital assets to ecosystems where something is already happening: transactions need to be paid for, validators need to secure networks, or users need incentives to participate.

That does not guarantee token performance, but it gives each asset a clearer reason to exist.

Here are five newer tokens built around identifiable utility.

1. 1WIN: Adding Web3 Utility to an Existing Gaming Giant

$1WIN differs from many new tokens because the ecosystem came first.

1win has operated since 2016 and says it serves more than 30 million registered players across 100+ countries through casino gaming, sports and esports, crypto payments and other entertainment products. Its Solana-based token is designed to add another layer to that existing activity.

$1WIN has a fixed supply of one billion tokens, with 51% allocated to user-facing programs including game reward pools, wager rewards and its Telegram Mini App distribution.

The tokenomics are also connected to platform activity. 1win plans regular market buybacks funded by gaming revenue, while 10% of $1WIN spent through supported products will be burned. The idea is to introduce a token into an existing user and revenue base rather than launch one and search for utility afterward.

2. MON: Securing Monad

MON launched alongside Monad’s mainnet in November 2025. Monad is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 built for higher throughput while retaining Ethereum-compatible development tools.

MON is part of the network’s core infrastructure. Holders can stake tokens with validators, while validators use MON to participate in MonadBFT consensus. Monad’s staking places the token directly inside the system securing the network.

3. XPL: Supporting Stablecoin Infrastructure

Plasma launched its mainnet beta and XPL in September 2025 with a focus on stablecoin payments.

The network is designed for applications involving payments, savings, FX and DeFi, including zero-fee USDT transfers. According to Plasma, XPL is the network’s native token, used for transactions and to support validators securing the blockchain.

Its utility sits beneath the consumer experience: users may be moving stablecoins, while XPL helps operate the infrastructure behind them.

4. BERA: Linking Network Security and DeFi

Berachain’s BERA is used for transaction fees and validator staking.

The network also connects validators with its Proof-of-Liquidity model, which directs incentives toward activity across its DeFi ecosystem. Transaction fees paid in BERA are burned, according to Berachain.

That gives BERA roles in both securing the chain and supporting the economic activity built on top of it.

5. IP: Bringing Intellectual Property Onchain

Story’s IP token powers a Layer 1 built specifically around intellectual property.

Creators can use Story to register IP, establish licensing conditions and create royalty structures that can be used by applications, users and AI systems. IP acts as the network’s native gas token, making it part of every interaction with that infrastructure.

Story launched its mainnet in February 2025, putting IP at the intersection of blockchain, digital ownership and the growing debate around licensing content for AI.

Utility Beyond the TGE

$1WIN, MON, XPL, BERA and IP serve very different markets, but each has a defined function inside a broader ecosystem.

That may be a more useful way to judge new tokens in 2026: not by how much attention they generate at launch, but whether people still have a reason to use them once the launch hype fades.
