2022 was a turbulent year for NFTs and cryptocurrencies in general. 2023 is ending the bearish winter, and a period of stabilisation and uptrend does not seem far off. NFTs are going to be the star feature of the digital economy. While NFTs are minted on a marketplace that runs on the Ethereum Blockchain, the awaited Shanghai Upgrade (Shapella) will ensure the season of Non-Fungible Tokens is back and shining.

Gucci announces Collaboration with Yuga Labs

Gucci, the most prominent of fashion giants, announced its latest collaboration with Yuga Labs, the company behind the Bored Ape Yacht Collection. Gucci took to Twitter to let the news out, saying that it continues to explore the Metaverse and "a new narrative is shaping up, blurring the boundaries between the physical and digital."

The collaboration will follow crucial developments for the NFT company. Yuga Labs also released an NFT collection on the Bitcoin Blockchain. They created another collection known as Mutant Apes, which has 20,000 Mutant Apes.

Big Eyes Coin Launches Cool NFTs

The new and upcoming Big Eyes Coin (BIG) is still in stage 12 of the presale. The meme coin started its ICO in the third quarter of 2022 and has since raised a massive $32.67 million. Community, or the Kitty Cuddlers as it is cutely called, have been at the core of the process. They have been rewarded with bonuses and Loot boxes right from the start for being the focus of this cool cathouse.

Big Eyes Coin mascot believes in rewarding the kitty cuddlers for their loyalty and has developed the new NFTs that can be minted on the ETH blockchain. The NFTs will launch on March 31st. All Loot boxes will have custom and unique cards as rewards. Once opened, the users will get both cards and BIG tokens. The cards will come with an option to mint. Once the user enables the mint option, it can be minted as an NFT. However, each card can only be minted once.

This NFT collection will be listed on Opensea, the Ethereum NFT Market, by April 3rd. Each NFT can be minted for 0.05 ETH. These NFTs are for collection and trading on Opensea, multiplying your meme coin experience by multi-folds.

Shiba Inu's NFT Project gets a New Twitter

Shiba Inu launched its NFTs called Shiboshis in the last quarter of 2022. The NFT collection of 10,000 Shiboshis was launched on the ShibaSwap decentralised exchange.

These NFTs are considered extremely special by ShibArmy, the Shiba Inu community, as they are eternally written on the Ethereum Blockchain. However, the buyers will be able to change the name of their NFTs by burning SHIB.

The Shiba Inu NFT has its social club, which enjoys exclusive perks to the ever-evolving Shiboshi World. The latest is its Twitter account. The prominent SHIB influencer Lucie announced on March 28th that Shiboshis now have their Twitter. The account attracted a prompt following from the ShibArmy, including the lead developer Shytoshi Kusama. Shiboshi Account has only tweeted once, saying, "In the meanwhile…" and left the Shiba Inu community wondering what lies next for them in this ever-changing meme coin world.

Looking at the recent developments in the world of NFTs, the NFT Season is back with a bang. While Shiba Inu and Bored Ape Yacht Club look promising in 2023, the Big Eyes Coin NFTs are making all the noise.
