Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded USD 987 million in weekly net inflows, led by BlackRock’s IBIT with USD 692 million.
XRP futures volume reached a six-month high as US spot XRP ETFs added USD 18.96 million and combined AUM rose to USD 1.48 billion.
Arthur Hayes increased his UNI holdings above USD 2 million.
The crypto market saw major developments as spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded USD 987 million in net inflows, while XRP Futures hit a six-month high as ETF inflows increased. Also, a liquid network got drained of 4,000 BTC, and Arthur Hayes bought USD 2 million in UNI.
According to SoSoValue, during last week’s trading days, spot Bitcoin ETFs had net inflows of USD 987 million. The spot Bitcoin ETF with the largest weekly net inflow was BlackRock’s ETF IBIT, with a weekly net inflow of USD 692 million.
The second-largest was ARK 21Shares' ARKB ETF, with a weekly net inflow of USD 138 million. The spot Bitcoin ETF with the largest weekly net outflow was Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust GBTC, with a weekly net outflow of USD 47.9921 million.
The total net asset value of spot Bitcoin ETFs was USD 101.25 billion, the ETF net asset ratio reached 6.33%, and cumulative historical net inflows have reached USD 55.62 billion.
According to CryptoQuant, futures trading volume for the token hit a 6-month high at the end of summer.
Whales have begun aggressively accumulating positions, while Binance has traditionally been the main liquidity hub, dominating XRP futures trading volume by a wide margin ahead of the Senate vote on September 15.
The futures boom coincided with the first signs of an institutional push in the US: US spot XRP ETFs recorded a net inflow of USD 18.96 million. This pushed the combined assets under management (AUM) of these funds to USD 1.48 billion.
A Liquid Network hack drained roughly 4,000 BTC, worth USD 320 million, from Blockstream's Bitcoin sidechain.
Liquid is a sidechain to Bitcoin. Exchanges and trading platforms use it to move BTC between platforms quickly and confidentially.
The attackers did not steal a key. Preliminary technical analyses point instead to a flaw in the Elements node, the software behind the sidechain.
A patch apparently already existed. On August 3, 2026, a Blockstream developer committed "fix: range proof cache bind to asset and scriptpubkey". The change only reached the release branch after the incident.

The September 15 mainnet activation will be a key test of whether Pi Network can deliver real-world products after seven years of mobile mining.
Protocol 27 is the upgrade the Pi Core Team has called the “final planned” protocol change in the current development sequence.
Arthur Hayes' Uniswap (UNI) position topped USD 2 million on Monday. A wallet that Etherscan labels as his now holds 284,102 UNI after two days of buying, roughly 244,400 UNI on Sunday and 39,700 on Monday.
Etherscan names the address "Arthur Hayes 4" and values the stake just above USD 2 million; the same wallet also holds about 8,013 ETH.
Hayes has kept large orders away from open markets, pulling ETH and stablecoins from Galaxy Digital, Cumberland and FalconX.
On X, he wrote, "Time to run it back turbo," and called UNI his favourite type of sushi.
