Crampete's target is to train one million students in the next two years across all countries in Asia. The institute has already started its operations in India, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and soon it is launching its centres in the Middle East, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and the UK. Crampete's vision is to transform lives by empowering in-demand tech skills.

Inclusive Pedagogy Designed for Industry Requirements

Crampete is setting up state-of-the-art learning centres in major cities and towns in India to enhance the completion rate of online courses, and thus the overall effectiveness of online tech skills acquisition. The institute is planning to open 50 more centers across India by the end of the current financial year.

Crampete offers three tech courses in web development, data science, and digital marketing, all are tailored for beginners and those with non-programming backgrounds. The institute's Cramdegree is a certificate offered on completion of its flagship courses. The certificate is accorded once the student has completed the course requirements and the capstone project. The Cramdegree is offered on trending fields in the job market. Crampete also offers modular programs that give the platform to specialize in one technical skill at a time.

60% of Crampete's content is learnt through its mobile app and students come to its classroom for lab and project sessions. The institute finds this model more productive.

Crampete has three types of courses – Self Paced, On Campus, Online Live. The Self-paced course involves full-stack web development, Data Science, Front end and Back end web developer, Digital marketing, Python, C, C++, etc. In On-campus and Online live, it offers Full-stack web development, Data Science, Front end and Back end web developer, and digital marketing.

Crampete hopes to reach its courses to 20,000 students at the end of the current financial year.

Delivering Education with Competitive Edge

All of Crampete's trainers are from Industry. The institute's students are given five full-fledged projects that help them to build a strong portfolio. Crampete has also developed Cramcode that enables students to do lab sessions within its student learning management system with the institute's built-in compiler.

The institute is spearheaded by Founder and CEO Shankar Prabhu J  who believes there is tremendous response for Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) across the world. Many globally reputed universities and higher educational institutions are offering online courses. However, studies show that only 5 to 10 per cent of the MOOCs students complete the courses. In the absence of a classroom model, direct interactions among students, and hands-on training, the motivation drops off significantly within a couple of weeks and the students become inactive or drop out of the courses.

Empowering Learning by Offering Pragmatic Exposure

Crampete has partnered with 50+ companies that offer internships. Its students are given internship offers from these companies to do a real-time project. Crampete's learning centres are well equipped with digital presentation tools and computer labs for the students to do real-life projects like building prototypes of popular services like Uber, Ola, and Swiggy.

The institute has three studios to produce course content for online distribution. Though the online videos are primarily about technologies taught, there is content also on subjects like logical reasoning and soft skills that help students applying for jobs clear the aptitude and preliminary tests.

Crampete is bringing in a typical classroom environment into the equation. In its model, about 60 percent of the course content is delivered to the students online so that they follow the course content at their own convenience. They visit a nearby Crampete Learning Center to complete course projects. By giving them an opportunity to attend a real-world classroom, the institute is enabling synchronous learning. Lectures by master trainers, group discussions among the students, and project support keep the interest levels of the students intact. There is someone to help students debug a program or give the final touch to the apps they develop. All these factors make the students complete the courses successfully.
