Wearables improve the clinical trial experience for patients by making participation more convenient. A patient who uses a wearable to track aspects of their health does not need to track this information manually. Wearables are more convenient and less intrusive for participants because they allow them to contribute data from the comfort of their own homes.
4. Electronic Medical Records – Doctors can now view and seamlessly share medical history more efficiently since the introduction of electronic medical records. Because the doctor has complete access to the patient's health history, prescriptions, and previous care, records are less likely to be lost, and patient care is improved. Patients can also keep track of their medical data using electronic records.
5. Clinical Trial Participation – One of the most significant ways technology has aided researchers is by matching patients to a clinical trial. Several tools have been developed that search a database of clinical trials and allow potential patients to find one that is looking for people in their demographic. These tools save researchers significant time by allowing them to reach a much larger audience than they otherwise could.
6.Artificial Intelligence – Artificial intelligence (AI) is a powerful tool that has the potential to transform healthcare completely. AI algorithms that can mine medical records can design treatment plans, develop drugs faster than any current doctor, and even diagnose cancerous and noncancerous tissue samples.
7.Telemedicine – Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, telemedicine has significantly shifted toward telemedicine, replacing face-to-face contact. Current solutions primarily focus on enabling virtual communication. However, there is room to improve and differentiate telemedicine by introducing functionality in the digital realm that is not available in the physical consultation room.
8. Data Collection – Data collection is one of the essential aspects of any medical field. The entire health industry is dependent on data because there is no cure for any disease without data. Data is required to analyze any situation or illness to find a possible cure. Because each patient has a different level of autonomy, illness and patient data are needed. Not every medicine is appropriate for every patient, and as such, each patient requires a different type of medicine.
