Correction Policy

Analytics Insight is committed to publishing accurate, well-sourced and up-to-date information across all its coverage areas including artificial intelligence, technology, cryptocurrency, stocks, fintech, gadgets, data science and more. We take editorial accuracy seriously. When errors occur we address them promptly, transparently and without exception.

This Correction Policy applies to all editorial content published on analyticsinsight.net including news articles, analysis, opinion pieces, interviews, web stories, product reviews, price reports, listicles, cryptocurrency coverage, stock analysis, gadget guides and social media posts published from our official channels.

Transparent Corrections

Every factual change made to published content is clearly documented and visible to readers.

Editorial Review

All correction requests undergo detailed editorial verification and evidence review.

Fast Response Timelines

Urgent public-impact inaccuracies are prioritised and may be corrected within the hour.

Our Commitment

Analytics Insight will not silently alter, delete or suppress errors. Every factual change made to a published article will be clearly documented with a correction notice visible to readers. We correct errors regardless of how they are discovered; whether by a reader, a source, a subject of coverage, a contributor or our own editorial team.

We do not accept payment, advertising consideration or any commercial arrangement in exchange for corrections or their suppression. We apply the same editorial standards to all correction requests regardless of who the subject is.

Types of Corrections

Minor Correction

A typographical error, spelling mistake or small factual inaccuracy that does not materially change the meaning of an article, such as a misspelled name, an incorrect date or a wrong figure.

The correction is made in place and a brief editor's note is added at the bottom of the article stating what was changed and when.

Significant Correction

An error that meaningfully misrepresents a person, company, statistic, price, event or claim.

This includes incorrect cryptocurrency prices used as definitive figures, misattributed quotes, inaccurate stock data presented as fact or errors in product specifications.

A clearly visible correction notice is added at the top of the article along with the date and a description of what changed.

Retraction

In rare cases where an article is fundamentally inaccurate and cannot be corrected without a complete rewrite, it may be retracted.

The original URL will carry a retraction notice explaining why the content was withdrawn. Articles are not silently deleted.

Update or Clarification

When a story was accurate at the time of publication but facts have since changed, such as a price movement, a regulatory update, a product launch change or a developing news situation, a clearly dated update note is added to the article.

This is distinct from a correction and does not imply the original reporting was wrong.

Headline Correction

If a headline is found to be inaccurate or misleading it is corrected and the original headline is noted in the correction notice.

How We Handle Corrections

When an error is flagged our editorial team logs it and the responsible editor reviews the original source material, journalist notes and any supporting evidence provided. A decision is made on whether a correction is warranted and at what level.

If a correction is required the article is updated and a clearly dated correction notice is added. For significant corrections the notice appears at the top of the article. For minor corrections it appears at the bottom.

Where the erroneous version was shared on Analytics Insight's social media channels including X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or WhatsApp the correction is communicated on those platforms as well.

If a reader or source submitted the correction request and provided contact information they will be informed of the outcome.

Response Timelines

Analytics Insight aims to acknowledge all correction requests within 24 hours, complete an editorial review within 48 hours and publish a correction within 72 hours where one is warranted.

For urgent cases involving health information, false allegations, safety-related inaccuracies or errors with immediate public impact corrections are prioritised and may be published within the hour.

How to Report an Error

If you believe Analytics Insight has published inaccurate or misleading information please contact us. When submitting a correction request include the URL of the article in question, a clear description of the error and what the correct information should be, and any supporting evidence such as official sources, links or documents.

Your name and contact email are optional but required if you wish to receive a direct response.

Anonymous submissions are reviewed with the same editorial diligence as attributed ones.
