ChatGPT Saves 70 Minutes a Day for HR Professionals: Study

According to a study, OpenAI ChatGPT saves 70 minutes a day for HR professionals

ChatGPT has genuinely changed the usage of AI. The generative AI chatbot developed by OpenAI was released in November 2022, and within months it had a significant impact on both personal and professional life. ChatGPT is used by students to get help with their homework, by travelers to plan their journeys, and by businesses to increase the productivity of their staff. Over half of IT HR professionals utilize the AI chatbot for work, according to a recent study that sheds light on how ChatGPT is used across different business sectors. Human resource departments use the AI chatbot for various purposes, including training, surveys, performance evaluations, hiring, employee relations, etc.

One in ten IT HR professionals publicly confessed to utilizing ChatGPT to draught employee terminations, according to a recent B2B Reviews research. The poll, which included 792 tech employees and 213 tech HR professionals, also reveals that ChatGPT improves time-saving strategies and general efficiency across multiple HR roles. By utilizing ChatGPT to automate chores like arranging interviews, delivering onboarding materials, and following up with prospects, HR staff members reported saving an average of 70 minutes each week.

Additionally, according to the poll findings, a sizable majority of HR technology workers—nearly 70%—said their employers are giving them the tools and financial support they need to improve HR procedures. According to the survey, the IT sector is dedicated to enhancing employee satisfaction and HR processes.

The research also identifies additional digital solutions that HR departments utilize to streamline their operations and increase productivity, in addition to AI applications like ChatGPT. According to the study, 54 percent of HR professionals use payroll software and support its efficacy. 42% of respondents preferred background check software, which came in second to this program. Time and attendance systems (40%) and HR analytics and reporting (41%) were also essential tools for managing HR procedures in the tech industry.

The emergence of AI in HR operations has raised specific issues, however. A little over 44% of small business owners said they expected to hire fewer staff in the future due to AI's capabilities. This is so that many HR processes, including hiring and recruitment, may be automated using AI-powered solutions. Additionally, AI technology's effectiveness and precision have made many small business owners rethink their recruiting practices.

In conclusion, the advantages of adopting AI chatbots like ChatGPT are becoming increasingly apparent as AI transforms business practices. The time and resource savings demonstrate the promise of AI; HR professionals enjoy ChatGPT. However, the worries of small company owners about AI replacing people in the workforce underline the necessity of a cautious and proportionate approach when implementing AI in the workplace. Instead of seeing AI as a direct threat to jobs, we must use it to increase productivity. According to several analysts, the future of AI technology will see further advancement. To maintain a healthy balance between their knowledge and the efficiency offered by AI, humans must exercise great skill.
