Discord is Updating its Chatbot Clyde to Respond to Users’ Questions

Discord is updating its Clyde chatbot, which will now support OpenAI's GPT language model.

Discord is introducing a number of new AI features in an effort to "supercharge" discussions with your pals.The community platform's Clyde chatbot, which functions very similarly to ChatGPT, will now support OpenAI's GPT language model.  Discord is updating its Chatbot Clyde for themuch-neededd benefit of people.

Currently communicating with users when they make mistakes or in response to"slash" commands on the site, Clyde is Discord's default chatbot.

It will soon be able to perform additional tasks.

When a user requests it, Clyde, for instance, can be called up within a dialogue thread and send a GIF to hype up the server.

Another illustration provided by Discord features a user asking Clyde if he can provide the user with five facts about cats in addition to other features.

Alongside include those functions in Clyde, Discord is also incorporating OpenAI's technology to enhance its current AI-powered moderation.

On the platform, users could already use AI to control the content they saw.

In 2021, the business purchased Sentropy, a firm that employs artificial intelligence to identify and report online harassment.

According to Discord, its current technology has already stopped over 45 million spam messages.

The business claims that by using GPT, the AI will be better able to comprehend the context of texts.

A collaborative whiteboard that also employs AI was teased out by the business, along with Avatar Remix, which would let users alter one other's avatars using generative AI.

Discord also revealed plans to start an AI incubator, which will provide funding to developers who wish to create features for the platform that take advantage of AI.
