Can Quantum Computing Help Make Time-Traveling Machine?

Can we build a time travel machine with quantum computing? Let's see all possible ways.

The concept of The Time Travel machine is one of the most popular concepts in philosophy and science fiction. Using quantum computing to make time-travel machine, researchers have demonstrated that, in the quantum realm, there is no 'butterfly effect.' Scientists said they were able to return the state of a quantum computer a fraction of a second into the past, with an electron in empty interstellar space will spontaneously travel ling back into its recent past

On a quantum computer, there is no problem simulating running a process back into the past. The aim of a quantum computer in the time travel concept was to focus on the similarity and differences between varying time travel quantum theories. Researchers have been involved in finding the involvement of quantum computers in time travel and it's still going on. Thus, it involves huge and complex mathematical computations related to space and time.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics:

Most laws of physics make no distinction between the future and the past. The second law of thermodynamics states An isolated system either remain static or evolves toward a state of chaos rather than order. In 2019, a group of physicists performed an experiment that could hopefully reveal the origin of the arrow of time, which helped scientists know whether time travel is possible and if we could use any protocol to build a time travel machine. The team also calculated the probability of an electron spontaneously traveling back to its recent past in an empty interstellar space.

According to experts, virtually every other law except for the second law of thermodynamics would still make sense even if they were reversed. Most other laws of physics do not prevent rolling billiard balls from assembling into a pyramid, but here two identical billiard balls could be recorded colliding and rebounding from each other in reverse, and it would still make sense. But seeing a reverse playback of cue ball breaking the pyramid would easily allow you to make sense of time.

Time Travel Quantum Computing:

A few years ago, a researcher found that a quantum computer can be used to solve several problems, such as the NP-Complete problem (any of a class of computational problems for which no efficient solution algorithm has been found).

When quantum computing is taken into account, self-consistent solutions always exist for all time machine configurations and it promotes various phenomena, irrespective of the presence and absence of the closed timeline curve in space-time.

Time travel machine can be described as a communication channel concerning quantum to the backward direction of space-time. Quantum measurement, on combining with shared entanglement and communication, allows sending and receiving of quantum states. Entanglement arises on both the forward and backward parts of the curve due to which the quantum measurement is replaced by the post-selection, thus, precluding the need for a communication channel that gives birth to a time travel machine.

The researchers then attempted to reverse time in a four-stage experiment, viz. order, degradation, time reversal, regeneration. Here researchers found that in 85 percent of the cases the two-qubit quantum computer indeed returned into the initial state. When three qubits were involved, more errors happened, resulting in a roughly 50 percent success rate.
