A graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, Khozema earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Biology, and Economics. Khozema spent more than twenty years at GE where he worked in different operational and financial positions for three areas which included Industrial Internet, Corporate Audit and Aviation. He worked at Twilio where he held the positions of CFO, COO and President of Communications before he became CEO in 2024. He has developed new products and improved operational efficiency while creating customer engagement programs which resulted in revenue increases and expanded Twilio's international market presence.
