Vivo will launch the Vivo T5 in India on September 2, targeting buyers seeking performance and long battery life. The smartphone will enter the mid-range T-series with a 7,050mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. Vivo has positioned the device around endurance, gaming performance and a slim design.

The launch will take place in India, with the handset expected to compete below the Rs. 50,000 segment. Vivo will reveal the remaining details, including final pricing, during the launch event.

The T5 will feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Its large battery will sit inside a 7.99mm thin body, making the combination notable.

Vivo will offer the phone in Royal Bronze and Silver Green color options. The Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset will handle performance, while a dedicated NPU will support on-device generative AI features. The phone will run Vivo's OriginOS software based on Android.

Vivo's Flipkart microsite places the T5 in the Rs. 34,999 to Rs. 49,999 segment. The exact price remains unconfirmed, while reports expect a starting price near Rs. 40,000. The pricing could become important since the phone closely resembles the iQOO Z11 in specifications. Both devices feature the same chipset, battery capacity and 144Hz curved AMOLED display.

The Vivo T5 also carries a pill-shaped rear camera module similar to the iQOO Z11. Vivo has not confirmed the complete camera setup yet, keeping camera performance as a key launch detail. The T5 could strengthen Vivo's mid-range lineup if the company pairs its battery advantage with competitive pricing and launch offers.

Vivo has promoted the T5 around its slim profile and large 7,050mAh battery ahead of launch.
