Since processing fabrication will take place on Intel's 18AP Process, this would mean that, while Intel produces the chips as an outsourcing company, TSMC will still produce Apple’s high-end chips.
The production relationship between Apple and Intel is expected to manufacture approximately 15 to 20 million units of chips and later supply future versions of the MacBook Air as well as iPads, helping Apple diversify its sources of supply beyond one vendor.
Deutsche Börse has put forth a non-binding proposal to purchase the Fund Technologies Company Allfunds valued at €8.80 per share, or approximately €6.1 billion total value, with an offer of €4.30 cash and €4.30 in new Deutsche Börse stock.
