Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 FE in India at Rs. 79,999 on September 14. The phone targets premium buyers with Galaxy AI, cameras and flagship features. It arrives with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage as the listed Indian configuration. Sales will begin across Samsung channels from September 18.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE combines a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, an Exynos 2500 chip and a 4,900mAh battery. Samsung positions the device as a premium Fan Edition option with strong imaging and AI capabilities. The phone also becomes the first Galaxy S26 model to launch with One UI 9.

Samsung offers the Galaxy S26 FE in Pistachio, Blueberry and Graphite color options. The device carries IP68 protection and weighs 193 grams. Its 120Hz display reaches up to 1,900 nits for smoother viewing and outdoor visibility.

The camera system includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto lens. The telephoto camera delivers 3x optical zoom and supports up to 30x digital zoom. A 12MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

Samsung adds My FanCam for automatic subject tracking during video recordings. Super Steady with Horizontal Lock keeps moving footage smoother and more level. Nightography and Photo Assist also strengthen the phone's camera-focused experience.

Galaxy AI receives deeper integration through One UI 9 and Android 17 on the Galaxy S26 FE. Now, Brief provides customizable updates, while Circle to Search can identify multiple items together. Eligible buyers also receive six months of Google AI Pro with 5TB cloud storage.

The Exynos 2500 uses a 3nm process and supports 5G connectivity with Wi-Fi 6E. The 4,900mAh battery supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. Samsung claims around 69% charging in 30 minutes with a compatible 45W adapter.

Launch benefits include an exchange bonus of up to Rs. 8,000 and selected no-cost EMI plans. Eligible bank cards can also receive Rs. 7,000 cashback, subject to Samsung's offer terms.

Samsung further promises seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. The extended support gives the Galaxy S26 FE a stronger long-term proposition at Rs. 79,999.
