Poco will launch the Poco F9 Series globally on September 1, featuring the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra. The Xiaomi sub-brand targets performance-focused users with flagship processors, large batteries, fast charging, and high refresh rate displays. The launch will take place at 8 PM GMT+8, or 5:30 PM IST, through Poco's global event.

The Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra could also continue Xiaomi's Redmi K100 strategy for global markets. Reports link the F9 Pro with the Redmi K100 Pro and the Ultra with its Pro Max counterpart.

The Poco F9 Pro could feature a 6.59-inch QHD+ OLED display with an 185Hz refresh rate. The F9 Ultra may bring a larger 6.85-inch panel with a 2608×1200 resolution. Both models could use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processors with up to 16GB RAM.

Battery capacity could become the biggest difference between the two smartphones. The F9 Pro may pack a 6,330mAh battery, while the Ultra could reach 8,050mAh. Both models are expected to support 100W wired charging for faster power recovery.

Camera hardware could also separate the two models. The F9 Pro may offer a 50MP main sensor, 50MP telephoto, and 8MP ultrawide camera. The Ultra could add a 50MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide lens.

Poco also teased Bose audio branding and distinctive finishes for the upcoming phones. The official Poco page confirms the Ultra's 8,050mAh battery and the Pro's Snapdragon variant

Pricing and regional availability remain unconfirmed, including the Indian launch. The September 1 event should reveal final specifications, prices, configurations, and market availability.
