Lava has announced a price increase across its smartphone portfolio in India, with revised prices set to take effect from November 15, 2026. The company will raise device prices by up to Rs. 3,000, citing ongoing shortages in the global memory supply chain.
The announcement comes as smartphone manufacturers continue to deal with rising component costs. Memory shortages have increased procurement expenses, putting additional pressure on companies producing budget and mid-range smartphones.
In its official statement, Lava said the current industry situation and persistent memory shortages had made a price revision necessary. The increase will apply across its smartphone portfolio, although the company has not disclosed the exact revised pricing for individual models.
The company also encouraged customers planning to upgrade their devices to take advantage of existing festive offers before the new prices come into effect.

Lava mobiles will be available at the same festive rates via e-commerce websites and retail outlets until the revision takes effect. Customers can avail of any ongoing discounts on the website or at retail outlets that sell their products. But again, it will depend on the phone and the discount offered by the company.
The company hasn’t shared any information about an equal price increase across all phone models. The maximum amount for revision is capped at Rs. 3,000.

The announcement could affect consumers planning to purchase a Lava smartphone during the ongoing festive shopping period. A price increase of Rs. 3,000 may make a noticeable difference, particularly for buyers considering budget and mid-range devices.
With the November 15 deadline approaching, customers looking to purchase a Lava phone may want to compare current offers before the revised pricing arrives. The development also highlights how global memory supply constraints are beginning to influence smartphone prices in India.
