Final Verdict

Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 (2026), despite some changes and improvements, is still one of the good gaming laptops, having a bright 2.5K OLED screen and 240Hz refresh rate, excellent gaming performance and good battery life. The thin aluminium build makes it easier to use compared to other powerful gaming laptops. However, in comparison to the previous version, the 2026 is just a slight improvement with the same graphics generation in RTX 50 series, and it is much more expensive. In addition, it tends to heat up and produce lots of noise during games, and there is no possibility to update the memory since it is soldered. For people interested in premium design and performance, it is still quite good, but its high cost is a reason to think about other models too.
