Bitcoin remains dominant with a USD 1.55 trillion market capitalization despite recent selling pressure.
XRP and TRON show notable weakness, while Solana and Hyperliquid post gains.
Geopolitical tensions, oil prices, and regulatory developments continue influencing crypto sentiment.
The cryptocurrency market opened with mixed signals, with Bitcoin holding the top position at USD 77,542.15 and Ethereum trading at USD 2,414.31. The market snapshot shows uneven momentum across the top 10 cryptocurrencies, with Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and TRON posting negative readings across at least one period.
Hyperliquid stood out with a 13% gain in the strongest percentage reading shown, while Figure Heloc and Solana also recorded positive readings. Tether and USDC remained close to USD 1, reflecting the relative stability of major stablecoins.
Bitcoin is priced at USD 77,542.15, with a market capitalization of USD 1,556,953,669,730. Its 24-hour trading volume is USD 30,607,657,883.
The three percentage readings shown for Bitcoin are 0.4%, -1.1% and -2.0%. The numbers show that while Bitcoin has registered a positive reading in one period, momentum has weakened across the other two.
Bitcoin’s market capitalization remains more than five times that of Ethereum, underscoring its continued dominance in the broader cryptocurrency market.
The weakness in the major cryptocurrencies comes against a backdrop of geopolitical uncertainty and a broader risk-off mood. A CryptoRank report said US strikes on Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz pushed oil above USD 90 a barrel, triggering selling across crypto and other risk assets. Bitcoin fell to USD 76,926.53, down 2.2%, while Ethereum declined to USD 2,395.12, down 3.0%, and XRP dropped to USD 1.33, down 3.7%.
The report said total crypto market capitalization slipped to USD 2.7 trillion, down 1.4%, with trading volume of USD 82.4 billion. Solana fell 4.0% to USD 98.77, while BNB declined 1.8% to USD 681.55.
The geopolitical shock adds another layer of uncertainty to a market already sensitive to macroeconomic conditions and investor risk appetite.
Ethereum is ranked No. 2 at USD 2,414.31. Its volume is USD 13,236,355,090, while its market capitalization is USD 291,381,153,178.
Ethereum’s three percentage readings are 0.3%, -2.1% and -2.1%.
The figures indicate that Ethereum has followed a pattern similar to Bitcoin, with a modest positive reading in one period but sharper weakness in the other two. Its market capitalization remains substantially below Bitcoin’s, but Ethereum continues to hold the second position among the assets shown.
Tether is ranked third and trades at USD 0.9997. Its volume is USD 54,558,151,895, while its market capitalization stands at USD 183,316,572,706.
All three percentage readings for Tether are 0.0%.
USDC, ranked sixth, is priced at USD 0.9998, with a trading volume of USD 16,210,751,358 and a market capitalization of USD 73,638,118,196. Its three readings are also 0.0%, 0.0% and 0.0%.
The near-USD 1 prices underscore the stability of the two major stablecoins relative to the wider market.
BNB is ranked fourth at USD 687.09, with a volume of USD 827,383,386 and a market capitalization of USD 91,495,978,885. Its percentage readings are 0.3%, -0.7% and -1.5%.
XRP is ranked fifth at USD 1.35. It has a volume of USD 2,274,013,224 and a market capitalization of USD 84,596,169,792. Its readings are 0.6%, -1.7% and -6.4%.
XRP’s -6.4% reading is the sharpest negative figure among the first six assets in the snapshot, putting it under greater pressure than Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB over the same period.
Solana is ranked seventh at USD 100.04, with a trading volume of USD 3,608,905,996 and a market capitalization of USD 58,551,580,545.
Its three percentage readings are 0.4%, -3.1%, and 3.0%.
The 3.0% reading gives Solana one of the stronger positive signals in the snapshot, although the token also recorded a -3.1% reading in another period.

TRON is ranked eighth at USD 0.322, with a volume of USD 607,916,082 and a market capitalization of USD 30,564,938,576. Its readings are -0.1%, -3.1%, and -4.6%.
Figure: HELOC is ranked ninth at USD 1.05, with a volume of USD 261,130,745 and a market capitalization of USD 23,030,860,753. Its readings are 0.0%, 4.4%, and 3.5%.
Hyperliquid, ranked 10th, trades at USD 83.08. Its volume stands at USD 1,411,145,462, with a market capitalization of USD 18,482,659,366. Its readings are 0.0%, -1.2% and 13%.
Hyperliquid’s 13% reading is the strongest positive figure among the assets in the snapshot.
The evolution of crypto-style round-the-clock trading is also becoming relevant to traditional markets. The CryptoNews report points to growing discussion around extended trading hours and the implications of continuous market access.
The shift is significant since cryptocurrency markets have operated around the clock from the beginning, while traditional stock markets have historically followed fixed trading sessions. Any broader adoption of continuous trading could bring traditional financial markets closer to the structure already familiar to crypto investors.
The wider altcoin market is also showing uneven performance. A Pluang market update highlights a shift in performance between individual tokens, with Filecoin rising while Flare declined. The divergence reflects the selective nature of crypto trading, where individual project developments and market positioning can drive performance even when major assets remain under pressure.
This pattern is also visible in the current top-10 snapshot. Solana, Figure Heloc, and Hyperliquid are showing positive readings in at least one period, even as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP are declining.

A combination of macroeconomic uncertainty, geopolitical developments, and token-specific factors is shaping the current market picture. CryptoRank’s latest analysis identified the US-Iran conflict and the resulting oil price surge as a key trigger for the recent weakness in Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP.
The broader market therefore lacks a single direction. Bitcoin and Ethereum remain the dominant assets by market capitalization, but both show negative readings across two periods. XRP has recorded the sharpest decline among the major assets in the snapshot, while stablecoins remain largely unchanged.
At the same time, Hyperliquid’s 13% reading, Figure Heloc’s 4.4% and 3.5% readings, and Solana’s 3.0% reading show that pockets of strength remain in the market.
For now, the data points to a selective crypto market rather than a uniform sell-off, with investors balancing macroeconomic and geopolitical risks against opportunities in individual tokens.
