Mumbai, 1st September 2026: XECH Technologies, a leading manufacturer of innovative portable home appliances and consumer electronics, has launched XECH Atmos, a compact air purifier designed to bring convenient and accessible air purification to Indian spaces. Designed for rooms of up to 175 sq. ft., Atmos is suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, kids' rooms, study rooms, home offices, cabins, bedside spaces and work desks.
Priced at ₹2,999, XECH Atmos combines triple-layer filtration, quiet airflow and ambient lighting in a compact design. The launch comes at a time when air quality has become an increasingly important concern across urban India, with particulate pollution influenced by factors such as traffic, construction, industrial activity, dust and seasonal weather conditions. Periods of elevated AQI have further increased consumer awareness around maintaining better air quality in everyday environments.
Pranay Punjabi, Founder & CEO, XECH Technologies, said, “We saw a clear gap in the Indian air-purifier market. While global markets have already embraced air purification, many products in India are designed for large spaces and come at a premium. Indian homes often have smaller rooms, so the solution needed to be smaller, smarter and more accessible. With Atmos, we have designed an air purifier for spaces up to 175 sq. ft., because we believe clean air should be accessible to every Indian home.”
At the core of XECH Atmos is a triple-layer filtration system comprising a pre-filter, H13 HEPA filter and activated carbon layer, designed to help capture dust, fine particulate matter and everyday odours. The H13 filter offers 99.97% filtration efficiency for 0.1–0.3µm particulate matter, while its 40m³/h CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) reflects the volume of clean, filtered air delivered into the room every hour. Atmos is recommended for spaces up to 175 sq. ft., making it suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, study rooms and other compact spaces. The purifier comes with a standard filter life of approximately 3,000 hours, offering extended usage and added convenience for everyday air purification.
The purifier features three-speed airflow and a silent sleep mode, supported by a quiet DC fan designed for low-noise operation. This makes Atmos suitable for night-time use, study sessions and work environments. Its one-touch controls offer simple operation, while the 6, 12 and 24-hour timer settings provide additional convenience for everyday use. Beyond purification, Atmos brings an aromatherapy function that allows users to add a few drops of suitable essential oil to the aroma pad.
The launch reflects XECH's focus on identifying everyday consumer challenges and developing practical solutions around Indian lifestyles. With increasing urbanisation and industrialisation, air quality is expected to remain an important concern for consumers. Through Atmos, XECH aims to make air purification more accessible by offering a compact solution designed around the size and needs of everyday Indian spaces.
