AMD introduced new Ryzen™ PRO 9000 Series desktop processors, expanding its commercial desktop and workstation portfolio.
The Ryzen PRO 9000 Series introduces the world’s first enterprise-grade workstation processor with AMD 3D V-Cache™ Technology, offering increased cache capacity for accelerated performance in complex, data-intensive workloads.
The lineup offers processors between six and 16 cores and multiple power profiles up to 170 watts (TDP) for sustained peak performance under load, enabling professionals and OEM partners to tailor systems to their ideal use cases.
The AMD Ryzen PRO 9000 Series processors are part of the AMD PRO platform, delivering enterprise-grade security, modern manageability, and long-term platform stability for today’s IT environments.
Media & Entertainment: Real-time 4K/8K editing, faster encoding, and seamless compositing, especially when paired with AMD Radeon™ PRO graphics.
AEC: Complex modeling, BIM, and real-time visualization for architecture and engineering workflows.
Manufacturing & Design: Accelerates 3D CAD, simulation, and mechanical design for faster iteration and time-to-design.
Ryzen PRO 9000 Series processors are expected to be available starting in the second half of 2026. Lenovo will be among the first to showcase the new processors in its ThinkStation P4 at NXTBLD.
