Suzlon Energy Stock Trades Near ₹51 — Should You Buy?: Suzlon Energy shares are currently trading around ₹51.20, slightly lower by 1.12%. With a market cap of ₹72,154 crore, the stock remains one of India’s most watched renewable energy plays. Investors are questioning whether the recent correction makes this a buying opportunity.

Key Stock Metrics — Stable Price, Strong Volumes: Suzlon opened at ₹51.99 with a day’s high of ₹52.77 and low of ₹51.00. It recorded a massive 47.6 million shares in volume with a ₹25,072 lakh turnover. The VWAP stands at ₹51.94, indicating price stability despite market volatility.

Suzlon’s Fundamentals — EPS up 228% YoY: The company’s TTM EPS stands at ₹2.31, a huge +228.78% YoY growth, driven by strong project execution and margin recovery. At a TTM PE of 22.78, Suzlon trades at a low valuation compared to the Sector PE of 49.53, indicating potential undervaluation.

Nuvama Upgrades Suzlon to ‘Buy’ Despite Cutting Target Price: Nuvama Institutional Equities revised Suzlon’s target price from ₹66 to ₹60, but upgraded the stock to ‘Buy’ due to the recent correction. Analysts highlight that wind power remains cheaper than solar, with tariffs around ₹3.6–₹3.7 per unit, supporting long-term economic viability.

India’s Wind Energy Boom — A Major Tailwind for Suzlon: India is targeting 100 GW of wind capacity by FY30, with 52 GW already installed and 42 GW under construction. Annual wind additions are set to climb from 6 GW in FY26 to 12 GW/year by 2030, boosting demand for Suzlon’s turbines. Suzlon's S144 platform is export-ready and aligns with India’s push to reach 10–20% of global wind exports by FY30.

Growth Drivers — Rising Power Demand & Policy Push: India’s electricity demand is expected to grow at 5% CAGR till 2047, driven by EVs, green hydrogen, manufacturing, and data centers. Government steps such as ISTS waivers, GNA amendments, and state-level grid expansion help ease bottlenecks. These structural tailwinds strengthen Suzlon’s long-term revenue outlook.

Should You Invest Now? Valuation vs. Opportunity: With a 52-week high of ₹74.30 and the stock now at ₹51, Suzlon is trading ~31% below its peak. Its P/B of 11.80 is high but typical for strong renewables. Given its leadership in wind energy, robust order pipeline, improving financials, and bullish sector outlook, analysts view the current dip as a buy-on-correction opportunity for long-term investors.
