Open Google Find Hub: Open Google Find Hub on another Android phone, tablet, or computer and sign in with the Google Account connected to your missing phone. Select the lost device from the available list to access location, sound, lock, and other recovery options.
Check Your Phone’s Location: Check the map in Google Find Hub to see your Android phone’s current or most recent available location. The map can help you identify whether the device is at home, work, a nearby location, or somewhere unfamiliar.
Play a Sound: Select the option to play a sound when you believe your phone may be nearby. The device can ring loudly even when silent or vibrate mode is enabled, making it easier to locate under furniture, inside bags, or in another room.
Mark Your Phone as Lost: Use Find Hub to mark the device as lost and lock it remotely. You can add a message or alternate phone number to the lock screen so someone who finds the device can contact you without accessing your personal information.
Check Battery and Connection: Look at the device information shown in Find Hub, including its available battery level and recent connection status. A phone that remains powered and connected can provide more useful location updates while you continue searching.
Call Your Phone: Call your missing Android phone from another device and listen for its ringtone or vibration. If another person has found it, they may answer the call and provide information that helps you recover the phone safely.
Contact Your Mobile Operator: Contact your mobile network provider if you cannot quickly recover the phone. Ask about suspending the SIM or mobile service and discuss available options for protecting your number from unauthorised use.
