Prahaar Trailer Released
The trailer of Prahaar: The Untold Story of Ujjwal Nikam has been released, introducing Rajkummar Rao as special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam. Directed by Avinash Arun, the film focuses on the courtroom battle surrounding Ajmal Kasab’s trial after the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The film releases theatrically on October 16.
Rajkummar Rao as Ujjwal Nikam
Rajkummar Rao portrays Ujjwal Nikam, the prosecutor who represented the state during the Kasab trial. The trailer highlights his courtroom arguments, witness questioning and efforts to build the prosecution’s case. Wamiqa Gabbi and Supporting Cast
Wamiqa Gabbi plays Jyoti Nikam, portraying the personal side of Ujjwal Nikam’s life. Sikandar Kher appears as a lawyer representing the opposing side, while Jaideep Ahlawat, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Nassar also feature in important roles. The ensemble adds courtroom, diplomatic, and personal dimensions to the story.

Avinash Arun directs Prahaar, with Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films backing the project. The trailer moves between recreated scenes from the 26/11 attacks, courtroom proceedings, and moments from Nikam’s personal life.
