Identify the Problem : Many HP laptop users encounter a strange blank box that appears during every startup. It’s usually from HP Hotkey Support going haywire.

Open Task Manager : Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc → Proceed to the Startup tab → Disable HP Hotkey UWP Service to stop the appearance of the popup during boot.

Uninstalling HP Hotkey Support via Control Panel : Go to Control Panel, then Programs, and next, Uninstall a program. Search for HP Hotkey Support to perform a complete uninstall.

Reinstall using HP's Authorized Support Assistant : Obtain the latest hotkey driver using HP Support Assistant or the HP official website to replace corrupt files.

Update all keyboards and system drivers. In Device Manager, go to Keyboard & System Devices and right-click on Update Driver for a clean hotkey operation.

Check for Windows Updates and Conflicts. Windows updates sometimes cause conflicts. Ensure your operating system is up to date, and if so, roll back any recent modifications to your keyboard driver.
