Honda Rebel 300 Makes Its India Debut
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the Rebel 300 in India, with prices starting at Rs 2.22 lakh. The cruiser is available in Standard and E-Clutch versions. The Standard model costs Rs 2.22 lakh, while the E-Clutch version is priced at Rs 2.62 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom Bengaluru and took effect on August 25, 2026.
Rebel 300 Gets A 286cc Liquid-Cooled Engine
The Honda Rebel 300 uses a 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed gearbox. The engine produces 29.5 hp and 27.5 Nm of torque. Honda offers the motorcycle with either a conventional clutch or its E-Clutch system. The E-Clutch setup allows riders to shift gears without manually operating the clutch lever during regular riding.
Honda Brings E-Clutch Technology To Rebel 300
The Rebel 300 E-Clutch adds Honda’s clutch-assist technology to the cruiser. It allows riders to start and shift gears without using the clutch lever manually. Riders can still operate the clutch when they want greater control. Honda has also offered E-Clutch technology on other models, making the Rebel 300 part of its wider push for more accessible riding technology.
Low-Slung Design Gives Rebel 300 A Cruiser Look
The Rebel 300 follows a low-slung, bobber-inspired design with a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a relaxed riding position. It also gets a round LED projector headlamp and blacked-out styling elements. The motorcycle uses an exposed frame and short bodywork, giving it a distinctive cruiser appearance. Its design draws clear inspiration from Honda’s larger Rebel models sold internationally.
Rebel 300 Gets TFT Display And RoadSync
Honda has equipped the Rebel 300 with a circular TFT instrument display and Honda RoadSync connectivity. The system supports turn-by-turn navigation for riders. The motorcycle also gets disc brakes at both ends and dual-channel ABS as standard. These features add modern equipment to the cruiser while keeping its focus on straightforward road riding and everyday usability.
India-Made Rebel 300 Targets Premium Cruiser Buyers
Honda manufactures the Rebel 300 in India and will sell it through its BigWing dealership network. The local production forms part of Honda’s wider push to introduce more global products with greater localisation. The motorcycle joins the company’s newly announced 10-product portfolio for India. Honda positions the Rebel 300 as an accessible entry into its lifestyle cruiser range.
Bookings Open As Deliveries Begin In October
Bookings for the Honda Rebel 300 are now open across India for a token amount of Rs 5,000. Customers can book the motorcycle through Honda’s website and authorised BigWing dealerships. Honda has scheduled customer deliveries to begin from mid-October 2026. The Rebel 300 gives Honda a new offering in India’s growing mid-capacity lifestyle motorcycle segment.
