Unlocking Co‑Op : To unlock co‑op, players must reach Adventure Rank 16 and complete Archon Quest Prologue: Act I – The Outlander Who Caught the Wind. Once done, the Co‑Op menu becomes available in the main menu or shortcut wheel.
Accessing Co‑Op Mode : After unlocking it, access via Main Menu and Co‑Op Mode, or press the shoulder button and D‑pad on controllers. From there, you can host a session or request to join another player's world on the same server.
Party Composition Rules : In co‑op, player character control varies: with two players, each uses two characters; three players means host uses two while others get one; and with four players, all get one character. This ensures balanced gameplay and shared combat roles.
What You Can Do Together : Players can tackle domains, bosses, ley-line outcrops, world monsters, commissions, fishing, and collectibles like ores and enemy drops. Host initiates domains, and each player spends individual resin for rewards. Shared exploration boosts efficiency and teamwork.
Restrictions and Limitations : Co‑op cannot advance story (Archon) quests or Spiral Abyss; hosts handle chests, oculi, domain entry, NPC interactions, and events. Guests cannot pick up unique collectibles from the host's world. Limited interaction maintains the host's solo progress integrity.
Co‑Op Benefits & Strategy : Co‑op ramps up enemy levels (HP/ATK scale up to +250%). Teaming with others increases resource farming speed and boosts companionship XP.
