Overview:

  • The Infinix GT 50 Pro costs Rs. 69,999 in India, nearly three times the GT 30 Pro's launch price.

  • Liquid cooling, pressure-sensitive gaming triggers, a 144 Hz AMOLED display, and a 6,500 mAh battery target serious mobile gamers.

  • A launch bundle valued at Rs. 24,999 adds accessories, but its value depends on how much buyers use them.

Infinix launched a gaming phone at Rs. 24,999 in the past. Now the GT 50 Pro costs Rs. 69,999, almost three times that price. The 12GB RAM and 256GB model goes on sale in India on October 30, 2026. It comes with liquid cooling, gaming triggers, and a gaming kit in the box. Infinix wants serious gamers to pay for these extras. But do they really justify such a big jump in price?

Why the GT 50 Pro Costs So Much More

Early estimates before launch placed the phone between Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 35,000. The final price landed far above that range. Infinix pairs the phone with a gaming bundle that it values at Rs. 24,999.

The bundle holds a controller, a TV station, a cooling fan with charging, and a magnetic cover. Infinix groups these items under the GT Ecosystem. The company offers it at launch. The terms may change later. Official listings should be checked before any order.

The chip and battery have both moved up a step. Charging speeds stay the same. A longer update promise is the other clear gain. Cooling and controls are the larger additions.

Cooling and Triggers Target Serious Gamers

Long gaming sessions heat a phone. A hot phone often slows itself to protect its parts. That can make a game feel choppy after the first few minutes. Infinix answers this with a liquid cooling system called HydroFlow. It moves heat away from the chip, much like a small radiator. The Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip suits demanding games, though independent tests will show how well it holds up.

The phone also adds two pressure-sensitive triggers on its side. Held sideways, they sit under the index fingers like shoulder buttons on a game controller. Players can set them to aim, shoot, or jump. The thumbs then stay free to move and look around.

The screen supports the same goal. The 6.78-inch AMOLED display refreshes up to 144 times a second, which keeps motion smooth in games that support it. Infinix says some games are tuned to reach 144 frames per second.

Support will vary by title. Peak brightness is claimed at 4,500 nits, a measure of light output. That is a short burst. Typical brightness is listed at 700 nits.

Beyond Gaming: Battery, Cameras, and Software

The design leans into the gaming theme. LED lighting strips sit on the back, and India gets Black Abyss and Red Blaze finishes. An IP64 rating protects against dust and light splashes. The phone weighs 198 grams, which is fair for a battery this size.

The 6,500mAh battery is large for a gaming phone. Real endurance will depend on the games played and the screen brightness. Tests under heavy play will say more than light-use estimates.

The back has a 50MP main camera and an 8MP wide-angle camera. A 13MP camera handles selfies. Cameras are not the focus here. Buyers who care about photos should study real samples in low light.

The phone runs Android 16. Launch reports say Infinix has promised three major Android upgrades and five years of security updates. That promise needs confirmation on the official India page.

Does the Rs. 24,999 Bundle Justify the Price?

Subtracting the bundle's Rs. 24,999 from the phone's price leaves about Rs. 45,000 on paper. That figure is not the phone's real price.

The Rs. 24,999 is Infinix's own valuation. Its worth depends on whether a buyer would purchase those items anyway. A regular gamer may use the controller and cooler often. A casual player may leave them in the box.

Buyers who already own a controller gain little from a second one. The TV station suits only those who want a bigger screen. The hardware list is strong. The price rests on how much of the setup gets used.

Is the GT 50 Pro Worth Rs. 69,999?

The phone suits dedicated gamers who play long sessions and want years of software support. Casual players have less reason to pay the premium. Buyers who care most about photography should compare other options.

Cheaper gaming phones may offer similar speed for less money. Independent tests of long sessions will settle much of the debate. Until those arrive, the GT 50 Pro stays a promising phone with a high asking price.

Final Thought

The next test comes after launch. Sales figures and discounts will show whether buyers pay for the full setup or only for the phone. That answer will decide how many rivals copy the idea.
