XRP wallets holding at least 1 million tokens reached 2,147, their highest count in 2026, according to Santiment. The blockchain analytics firm reported the milestone on November 3. The increase came despite weak XRP trading, with the token moving between USD 1.20 and USD 1.25. Santiment views the growth as a sign that long-term holders are adding exposure rather than leaving the market.
The count rose by 28 wallets in 10 days. Of those, 18 appeared during the final three days, showing that much of the increase occurred near the end of the period. Those 18 addresses accounted for nearly two-thirds of the total reported increase.
The new total covers addresses with at least 1 million XRP each. It measures the number of qualifying wallets, not how many separate investors own them. Santiment linked the increase to accumulation among larger, longer-term holders. Its interpretation rests on a growing wallet count during a period when XRP prices showed little upward movement.
The number of large wallets also represents a very small share of the network. In early November, the XRP Ledger had about 8.3 million funded accounts. At 2,147 addresses, million-plus wallets accounted for roughly 0.03% of that total. Their limited number makes changes in the group visible, but it does not reveal who controls the addresses.
Santiment identified a similar pattern in August 2026. Over the three months leading up to that point, the number of wallets holding at least 1 million XRP increased by 32. At the same time, XRP's market capitalization fell by 29%. The two trends moved in opposite directions, as the count of large addresses grew while the token's overall market value declined.
The comparison shows why wallet growth alone cannot establish the direction of XRP prices. In August, the increase in large addresses did not prevent the drop in market capitalization. The latest data adds a shorter window to that earlier example. November's increase involved 28 addresses in 10 days, compared with 32 across the three-month period ending in August.
The network also recorded more new addresses beyond its largest wallets. On November 1, the XRP Ledger created 7,934 new wallets, according to Santiment. The firm ranked that daily figure as the sixth-highest in 2026. The count measures new wallets across the network, rather than only addresses holding at least 1 million tokens.

Santiment has outlined conditions that would support its reading of the recent wallet data. The first involves keeping the number of million-plus XRP wallets above 2,140.
That threshold would need to hold while XRP stabilizes between USD 1.20 and USD 1.25. Both figures matter to the firm's assessment of whether the pattern continues. For stronger confirmation, Santiment wants XRP to recover USD 1.30 and then USD 1.40. It also expects continued growth in large-holder addresses alongside any price improvement.
Those levels remain conditions, not forecasts. The available data does not show that XRP has passed either price mark, and the outlook depends on future wallet counts. Address figures also have limits. One person or company can control several wallets, while an exchange or custodian can move assets between addresses it already manages.
Such transfers can change the number of million-plus wallets without providing fresh XRP purchases. As a result, the figures cannot identify each holder or establish how much new capital entered the market.
Santiment's August comparison offers another caution. Large-wallet numbers rose by 32 even as market capitalization declined 29%, showing that the two measures do not always move together.
Santiment reported 2,147 XRP wallets holding at least 1 million tokens, a 2026 high. The count rose by 28 in 10 days while XRP traded between USD 1.20 and USD 1.25. Further confirmation depends on large-wallet totals staying above 2,140 and XRP recovering USD 1.30 and USD 1.40.
