According to the World Economic Forum (WEF), the RWA market is expected to reach a value of $867 trillion by 2030. A joint report by Tokens Relations and Ripple shows that XRPL’s tokenized assets surged 2,260% year-to-date, now totaling $118 million. This growth signals expanding institutional adoption as firms seek faster, cheaper, and more compliant blockchain infrastructure for tokenized financial products.

Ripple continues to expand its international presence through partnerships and regulatory milestones. In the Middle East, Ripple secured approval from Dubai’s Financial Services Authority (DFSA), enabling it to offer crypto payment services in the UAE. The firm also partnered with Zand Bank and Mamo Pay to strengthen cross-border payments. A collaboration with Ctrl Alt and the Dubai Land Department has introduced a real estate tokenization project now live on XRPL.
Across Europe, Ripple collaborates with DZ Bank, BBVA Switzerland, and DekaBank through Metaco, delivering secure tokenization and custody solutions for institutional investors. These initiatives aim to bridge blockchain technology with traditional finance through compliance-ready systems.
In Asia, Ripple’s expansion is evident through partnerships with Straits in Singapore and BDACS in South Korea, focusing on building infrastructure for digital asset custody and ecosystem development. This regional growth is helping Ripple establish a solid foundation for institutional trust and scalable blockchain operations.
Crypto researcher SMQKE, a known XRP community member, reignited discussions about XRPL’s positioning in the RWA market. He stated that XRPL is strategically placed to lead the $867 trillion opportunity. He noted that as of August, the entire RWA sector was valued at only $26 billion, leaving immense room for growth.
In South America, Ripple’s collaboration with Mercado Bitcoin has resulted in more than $200 million worth of tokenized assets on XRPL. This practical adoption showcases blockchain’s potential beyond theory—bringing real financial products into tokenized form.
Further boosting institutional confidence, asset management leaders BlackRock and VanEck integrated RLUSD as a redemption mechanism for tokenized funds. This innovation enables instant conversion of tokenized shares into stablecoins, aligning with Ripple’s mission to merge traditional finance and decentralized systems. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has consistently stated that 24/7 liquidity and seamless settlement remain essential for institutional-grade finance.
At the time of writing, XRP is holding firm around $2.82. The price is up more than 430% in a year, a climb that few assets can match. Its market value now sits at $169.39 billion, with about 59.87 billion tokens in circulation—clear signs of investor trust that has built over months, not days.
Even with a 1.7% dip in market cap and a 27.8% drop in daily trading volume to roughly $5.1 billion, the token has managed to stay above the $2.80 support zone. That kind of price steadiness hints at steady accumulation and sustained demand.
