Tempsens Instruments fixed its IPO price band at Rs. 285 to Rs. 300 per share. The Rajasthan-based company will open bidding on August 20, 2026, for investors seeking exposure to its temperature sensing and heating solutions business.

The Rs. 650 crore IPO will close on August 24, while anchor investors can bid on August 19. The company plans to raise fresh capital and offer existing shares through an offer for sale.

The IPO includes a fresh issue worth Rs. 95 crore and an OFS of 1.85 crore shares. The OFS could raise around Rs. 555 crore at the upper price band, taking the total issue size to Rs. 650 crore.

Tempsens Instruments will list the shares on BSE and NSE on August 28, subject to the IPO process. The company set the minimum bid at 50 shares, requiring Rs. 15,000 at the upper price band.

“This acquisition strengthens our manufacturing capability in temperature and pressure gauges.” This statement came from Tempsens Instruments' official LinkedIn post.

Tempsens Instruments will use Rs. 18.1 crore from the fresh issue for capital expenditure. The spending will support electrical heating and specialized cable businesses. Another Rs. 55 crore will go toward debt repayment, while the balance will support general corporate needs.

The company reserved up to 50% of the net offer for QIBs. NIIs will receive at least 15%, while retail investors will get at least 35%. Employees also have a separate reservation worth Rs. 1.5 crore.

Tempsens Instruments operates 15 manufacturing units across India and overseas markets. The company claims a 10.5% share of India's temperature sensor segment. Its non-contact temperature sensor business holds an estimated 21.3% market share.

For FY26, revenue increased 17.5% year over year to Rs. 444.9 crore. Profit also rose 13.6% to Rs. 71.1 crore, showing stronger financial performance before the public issue.
