Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed a new limited edition PS5 console lineup themed around the upcoming game Marvel's Wolverine. The Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle launches on September 15, the same day as the game itself.

Pre-orders go live through PlayStation Direct and select retailers on August 19 at 10 AM local time. Sony designed this bundle for fans who want a themed console alongside the game, without needing to buy a separate copy.

Details of Bundle, Pricing

The Battle Yellow bundle comes with a digital code for the game, so buyers do not need to purchase it separately. The console itself stands out with a bold yellow finish inspired by Wolverine's classic comic look.

Priced at £569.99 or $649.99, the bundle also includes a matching DualSense controller. That same controller will be sold separately too, priced at £74.99 or $84.99, for players who already own a PS5 or want a spare.

Sony designed the console to appeal directly to fans who want their hardware to reflect the game's identity rather than just play it.

Options For Existing PS5 Owners

Players who already own a PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro do not need to miss out either. Sony is offering console covers that let owners upgrade their existing hardware to match the Wolverine theme, available exclusively through PlayStation Direct at £64.99 or $74.99.

PS5 Pro owners get an extra option too, with an Adamantium-finished cover replacing the bright yellow design for a more metallic, comic-accurate look. This Adamantium cover is priced the same as the yellow version, and a matching controller is available at £74.99 or $84.99.

Marvel's Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games, remains a PlayStation exclusive and continues to build anticipation ahead of its September release.
