Samsung recently announced that it plans to start charging for specific Galaxy AI features by the end of 2025.

Samsung's press releases for the Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy S24 FE include footnotes regarding the future of Galaxy AI. In the company's own words, Fees may apply to certain AI features at the end of 2025.”

Samsung has, so far extended Galaxy AI features to its Fan Edition variants and even its tablets. Now, word is that quite a few A-series Samsung handsets will enjoy this privilege too.

Circle to Search: It is a screenshot-researching tool that allows users to click on anything on the screen and search the web instantly for results.

PDF Overlay Translation: This translates and overlays text in PDFs so that anyone can read and understand irrespective of the language they speak.

As Samsung continues to monetize its AI capabilities, it'll be interesting to see what features end up making the cut to paid status by late 2025.
