Samsung is set to launch its next lineup of flagship smartphones, and recent leaks and rumors have kept fans engaged for the past few weeks. The latest reports indicate that the smartphone giant has finally decided on the price and launch date for Samsung Galaxy S26. The rising costs of chips and memory had delayed this decision for several months.
The Galaxy S26 series will include three models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. This year, Samsung will skip the Edge version and focus only on these three phones.
Reports from South Korea claim Samsung will not raise prices for the Galaxy S26 lineup. In the US, Galaxy S26 may start at $799, Galaxy S26+ at $999, and Galaxy S26 Ultra at $1,299. These prices match the previous Galaxy S25 series.
In India, the base model may cost between Rs. 75,999 and Rs. 79,990. Galaxy S26+ could be priced between Rs. 85,000 and Rs. 1,09,999, whereas the Galaxy S26 Ultra may start at Rs. 1,15,000 and go up to Rs. 1,59,990 for higher storage models. Final prices may change slightly due to taxes.
Samsung has also revised the storage options. All Galaxy S26 models will start with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. There will be no 128GB version this time. Galaxy S26 Ultra may offer a version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage in select markets.
The Galaxy S26 launch date is expected in late February 2026. Samsung may host its first Unpacked event of the year during this time. The event is likely to take place in San Francisco. Usually, Samsung launches its Galaxy S series in January. This delay suggests extra time for supply planning.
Camera upgrades stand out with Galaxy S26 Ultra featuring a 200MP main camera. Samsung may also add a new 3x Zoom HDR to improve photo quality while zooming in on distant objects.
The Galaxy S26 series will run on Android 16 with One UI 8.5. India models may use the Exynos 2600 processor. Other markets may receive the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Samsung is also expected to increase battery sizes across the lineup.
The smartphone manufacturer plans a global launch across India, the US, Canada, and Dubai. Early stock could remain limited due to strong demand.
Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series focuses on stable pricing and useful upgrades. While fans keep buzzing about the features and design, an official announcement is expected soon at the Unpacked 2026 event.
