Samsung is preparing to host its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event on July 22. This time, the event may happen in London instead of South Korea or the US. Samsung is expected to show 3 new foldable phones: Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and a new Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide. The Wide Fold will have a bigger screen and may compete with Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone.
Along with the phones, Samsung may also launch the Galaxy Watch 9 series and Galaxy Buds Able. New software under One UI 9 may bring AI features to the devices. Reports say the new foldables will be lighter, slimmer, and stronger.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 may have a 200MP camera, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery. The Z Flip 8 may have a bigger screen and a 2nm Exynos processor.
According to leaked prices for India, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 may cost around Rs. 1,74,999. The Z Fold 8 Wide may cost Rs. 1,95,000. The Z Flip 8 may be priced between Rs. 1,09,999 and Rs. 1,27,000. Galaxy Watch 9 may cost Rs. 36,999 for the regular version and Rs. 39,999 for LTE. Galaxy Buds Able may cost about Rs. 15,000. These prices keep Samsung foldables premium but still competitive with Apple devices.
Experts say the July launch will give Samsung an advantage before Apple’s iPhone event in the fall. Hosting the event in London shows Samsung wants to grow its presence in Europe. Fans can also expect new AI features across phones, watches, and earbuds.
Galaxy Unpacked 2026 will highlight Samsung’s new designs, better foldable features, and wider screens. The Wide Fold may offer a new way to use large screens in foldable phones. Fans can expect stylish designs, new features, and smart prices.
