Rentomojo Ltd will open its initial public offering for subscription on September 9, 2026, as the furniture and appliance rental company moves toward a stock market listing. The company has fixed the Rentomojo IPO price band at Rs. 384 to Rs. 404 per equity share.
The public issue will close on September 11, while anchor investors can place bids on September 8. At the upper price of Rs. 404 per share, the IPO size stands at about Rs. 1,255.57 crore. The company plans to list its shares on the BSE and NSE on September 17.
The Rentomojo IPO combines a fresh issue worth up to Rs. 150 crore with an offer for sale worth about Rs. 1,105.57 crore. Existing shareholders will offer around 2.73 crore shares through the OFS.
Selling shareholders include Accel India, Edelweiss Discovery Fund, IDG Ventures India, ValueQuest, Madison India, Chiratae, GMO entities, promoter Geetansh Bamania and other investors.
Since the OFS proceeds will go to selling shareholders, Rentomojo will receive funds only from the fresh issue. The company plans to use Rs. 70 crore from the fresh proceeds to repay certain borrowings.
It also plans to spend Rs. 42.5 crore on lease rentals or licence fees for warehouses and experience stores. The remaining funds will support general corporate purposes.
Retail investors can apply for at least 37 shares and place bids in multiples of 37 shares after that. At the upper end of the price band, one retail lot will cost Rs. 14,948. At the lower end of Rs. 384, the same lot will require an investment of Rs. 14,208.
The company has reserved 50% of the net offer for qualified institutional buyers, 15% for non-institutional investors and 35% for retail investors. It has also set aside shares worth up to Rs. 2 crore for employees.
Employees will receive a discount of Rs. 20 per share on the final offer price. The allotment is expected to be finalised on September 15 before the proposed September 17 listing.
Rentomojo operates a technology-driven direct-to-consumer rental and subscription platform for furniture and home appliances. Geetansh Bamania founded the company. Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors, Axis Capital and IIFL Capital Services are the book-running lead managers for the Rentomojo IPO. KFin Technologies is the registrar. The equity shares have a face value of Rs. 1 each and are proposed for listing on both the BSE and NSE. Rentomojo filed its red herring prospectus with SEBI on September 4, 2026.
