POCO M8 Power Launches in India: Price, Specs, Battery

POCO M8 Power has launched in India with an 8,000mAh battery, 120Hz AMOLED display, and Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chip. Priced from Rs. 24,999, it goes on sale August 7 with launch offers on Flipkart.

POCO has launched the M8 Power in India on August 4, targeting buyers seeking longer battery life. The new smartphone combines an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, AMOLED display, and Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset. 

POCO will sell the phone through Flipkart and retail partners, with sales starting August 7, 2026. The company designed the M8 Power for extended streaming, gaming, browsing, and everyday smartphone use.

POCO India described the device simply: “More Power, More Entertainment, More Binge.” The official post also promoted the phone around uninterrupted entertainment and its large battery capacity.

The M8 Power carries a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches 1,800 nits peak brightness and uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for protection. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor handles performance, while RAM options reach 8GB for daily multitasking. The phone also adds up to 8GB virtual RAM and offers 128GB internal storage.

A major highlight remains the 8,000mAh battery, which supports 45W wired fast charging. The charger comes inside the box, while 22.5W reverse charging can power other compatible devices. For photography, the smartphone gets a 50MP AI dual rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The device also supports 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, an IR blaster, and fingerprint scanning.

The M8 Power also carries an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. It comes in Black, Blaze Orange, and Green color options for buyers seeking different styles.

POCO has priced the 6GB RAM and 128GB model at Rs. 24,999 in India. The 8GB RAM and 128GB version costs Rs. 27,999 at the regular launch price. Early buyers can receive a Rs. 1,000 coupon plus a Rs. 2,000 bank discount or exchange benefit. The phone runs HyperOS 3 on Android 16 and promises four Android upgrades with six security updates.
