Nothing has introduced Phone 4b in India, targeting younger consumers seeking a distinctive software experience and signature design language at a more accessible price point.
The handset will be available from July 14 via Flipkart and major retail partners including Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales. Nothing has announced two initial configurations: the 8GB + 128GB model priced at Rs. 34,999 and the 8GB + 256GB variant at Rs. 38,999.
Phone 4b features a 6.77-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, designed to deliver smoother animations and scrolling. Nothing quotes a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits for the panel to improve outdoor legibility.
On the exterior, the flagship introduces a new translucent back with unibody construction that extends Nothing’s semi-transparent aesthetic. Several design and software components are carried over from the company’s higher-priced Phone 4a family, while the revised translucent treatment and unibody approach give the 4b a distinct look within the lineup.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Processor, combined with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in memory, powers the Phone 4b. This smartphone makes use of battery efficiency; it has a 6,000mAh battery that is fast-charged via a 33W power supply.
In addition, the phone offers 7.5W reverse wired charging, enabling users to top up accessories or other devices in emergencies. Nothing positions the Phone 4b as a device capable of extended usage between charges for typical mixed workloads.
Phone 4b comes with a dual-camera system that is made up of a 50 megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization and an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera. The front camera of the phone is made up of a 16 megapixel selfie camera.
The phone uses Nothing’s TrueLens Engine 4 for its image processing, and it has dual-video recording capability and 4K video at 30 frames per second. Audio duties are handled by dual stereo speakers tuned for balanced output.
