Meta is developing a standalone application for its Meta AI assistant. This strategic initiative, projected for release in the second quarter, is designed to extend Meta AI's accessibility beyond its current integration within platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp, where it already engages a substantial user base of 700 million monthly active users. Furthermore, the company is exploring a subscription-based model, indicating a deliberate effort to monetize its AI services and establish a more prominent position within the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence sector.

Standalone App 

At the moment  Meta AI integrated within other apps. But soon Meta aims to launch a standalone app that would give it its own space, allowing for deeper interaction and potentially more personalized experiences. With the interest of seamless organisation and user-centric approach. Mark Zuckerberg has shown a lot of enthusiasm for this idea, even agreeing with users who suggested a separate app would make the assistant more unified and customizable.
