Reliance Jio has launched a special Jio Independence Day offer for home broadband customers in India. The Jio Freedom Pack costs Rs. 10,000 for 15 months, giving customers a Rs. 6,000 saving over the regular Rs. 16,000 price. The offer targets JioFiber and JioAirFiber customers with long-term broadband needs.
The Jio broadband plan offers speeds of up to 100Mbps for the full 15-month period. The price is around Rs. 666 per month, which lowers the monthly cost from nearly Rs. 1,066. Jio has made the offer available on its website and MyJio app, although availability can differ between accounts.
The 100Mbps broadband pack also includes unlimited voice calling for the validity period. Jio offers access to more than 1,000 live TV channels through its home entertainment services.
The package also includes 15-month subscriptions to more than 12 entertainment apps. These services include JioHotstar, SonyLIV, ZEE5 and other streaming platforms. Some reports also mention a set-top box with the package.
The MyJio app remains important for checking the offer before making payment. Reports show that some customers can see the pack while others cannot find it yet.
Since Jio has not clearly listed an eligibility rule, customers should check availability first. The long validity may suit households planning to retain the same broadband connection for over a year.
