iQOO has given a glimpse of a phone that feels straight out of the future. The iQOO X concept comes with a massive 15,000mAh all-solid-state battery. It also has a 7-inch 2K+ LTPO display with a 240Hz refresh rate. The phone is designed around gaming and long battery life. iQOO has not confirmed a retail launch, so these features should be seen as a look at its plans.
The hardware does not stop at the battery. The concept phone is said to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 10 Pro chip, paired with iQOO’s QX e-sports chip. It also features up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. For cameras, the setup includes a 200-megapixel main camera, a 200-megapixel periscope camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
The 15,000mAh battery is the biggest talking point. It is roughly twice the size of batteries found in many flagship phones today. The solid-state design could also help iQOO fit more battery capacity without making the phone extremely thick.
The 240Hz screen could be another big draw for gamers. A faster refresh rate can make games feel smoother. The large 7-inch display also gives users more room while playing.
For now, iQOO has not announced a launch date. The company has also not confirmed that these specifications will appear on a retail phone. The concept is mainly meant to show what future iQOO devices could offer. Still, the message is clear. iQOO is thinking big about battery life, gaming and phone performance. If even some of these ideas reach future phones, flagship devices could look very different.
