Apple iPhone SE 4 dummy unit images surfaced online recently, churning the rumour mills with speculations on the much-awaited affordable iPhone’s design and features.
The images were leaked by the Japanese tech blog ‘Macotakara’. The photos indicate that most of the iPhone SE 4’s aspects look like the newly released iPhone 14.
It seems that the iPhone SE 4 ditches the older design language to feature a newer one. The new design would feature flat edges, a smaller notch for the Face ID system, and a single rear camera.
Interestingly, as far as the dummy units go, they appear to have kept the dimensions the same as today's iPhone SE, 146.7mm x 71.5mm x 7.8mm.
However, there are rumours of a larger dummy unit, an "iPhone SE 4 Plus" variant that may be alike the iPhone 14 Plus’ 6.7-inch screen.
Macotakara claims that the existence of a Plus size remains unverified, but the spec has fired up interest from fans who may appreciate an affordable iPhone with an enormous display.
It is important to note that these leaks are based on dummy units and not officially by Apple.
The introduction of the iPhone SE 4 may indicate that the company is positioning its devices for affordability without compromising on modern design and functionality.
