Apple's first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, is facing early trouble. Several buyers say the inner screen cracked soon after they bought it. The damage shows up along the middle fold.

Owners say the cracks form along the center of the screen. In some cases, a strip of pixels across the display stays white after the damage. The timing is not the same for everyone. Some screens failed after a short time of use. Others broke while the owner was still setting up the phone.
