Apple is expected to bring the new iPhone 17 series to India on September 19. The lineup includes iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone Air, which is the tech leader’s slimmest iPhone yet. After the mega launch event, pre-orders opened on September 12, and early demand has already created strong buzz.
iPhone Air caught the most attention during Apple’s “Awe Dropping” event last week. The device measures just 5.6 mm, making it the thinnest iPhone ever built. The regular iPhone 17 and its Pro versions come with larger storage options, fresh colours, and higher performance features.
iPhone 17 price in India starts at Rs. 82,900 for the 256 GB model. iPhone 17 Pro is priced at Rs. 1,34,900, and Pro Max starts at Rs. 1,49,900. iPhone Air begins at Rs. 1,19,900. Higher-end variants with up to 2 TB storage cost more, with Pro Max 2 TB priced at Rs. 2,29,900.
Apple’s own stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune are slated to stock the phones from day one. Online buyers can order from the tech giant’s India portal as well as platforms like Flipkart, Amazon, and Blinkit. Popular retail chains such as Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, and Ingram Micro will also sell the new devices.

Banks and retailers are offering multiple discounts and EMI options. Croma is giving an instant Rs. 6,000 discount along with a six-month no-cost EMI plan. Ingram Micro is offering no-cost EMI for up to 24 months and up to Rs. 7,000 exchange bonus. Vijay Sales has a monthly EMI starting from Rs. 4,471 on the iPhone 17 and Rs. 5,348 on the iPhone 17 Air. SBI credit card users can also claim instant discounts on select models.
The Pro and Pro Max models have higher EMI costs. Buyers may need to spend Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month on 12-month EMI plans, depending on the variant and bank.
Apple is also planning to expand its presence with the iPhone 17 release date and the opening of upcoming stores in Noida and Mumbai. With all of this excitement, huge lines are expected to form outside retail outlets in major cities around the country once sales begin.
The iPhone 17 series brings a new design, pricing, and offers to the Indian market. Its launch on September 19 will mark one of Apple’s biggest rollouts in the country yet.
