Humanity Price Rallies 116% as H Tests Major Resistance Near $0.175 Level

Humanity’s H token surged 116% over seven days and crossed its 200-day SMA near $0.15. Rising trading volume supported the rebound, but H now faces resistance around $0.175 following its June security breach and token migration.

Humanity price traded near $0.162 on August 16 after rising roughly 17% in 24 hours. The H token also gained 116.13% over seven days, extending a sharp recovery from its early-August range. CoinMarketCap recorded trading volume of about $43 million.

The move came while the wider crypto market changed little. Trading activity points to a rotation into smaller altcoins. Meanwhile, Humanity’s official channels have not announced a new partnership, product launch, or listing that directly explains the rise.

Humanity Price Challenges $0.175 Barrier

H spent several weeks below $0.10 before buyers pushed it through the 50-day simple moving average. The token then moved above its 200-day SMA near $0.15. Higher trading volume accompanied the breakout.

The next resistance area sits between $0.17 and $0.175. The 100-day SMA stands near the upper end of that range. A daily close above $0.175 would place the $0.18 and $0.20 levels in focus.

The 200-day SMA now provides the first major support zone around $0.15 to $0.153. H also has a recent breakout level near $0.147. A move below that area would weaken the current structure. Further selling could expose $0.125, followed by the $0.10 region.

The weekly percentage increase also reflects H’s low starting point. The token has recovered part of its June decline but still trades far below its early-June price.

Volume Rises as Traders Rotate Into Altcoins

Humanity’s 24-hour trading volume increased nearly 79% to about $43 million. H also appeared among the top gainers on Binance Futures and Bybit spot markets during the previous 48 hours.

Some traders described the recent market activity as “altseason whispers” after H, VELVET, and AKE recorded strong moves. That phrase reflects market discussion, not a confirmed sector-wide trend. Bitcoin dominance changed little as capital moved into selected smaller tokens.

Higher volume gives the Humanity price rally more liquidity, but it cannot confirm how long the move will last. Rising funding rates or crowded futures positions could expose H to rapid liquidations.

Momentum stays positive while H holds $0.147. Still, the extended move increases the chance of profit-taking. A break below $0.125 would place the recovery under pressure and could push the token toward $0.10.

June Security Breach Shapes the Recovery

Humanity’s official investigation traced the June collapse to stolen private keys. A project director opened a malicious attachment from an email impersonating Bithumb. The attacker installed remote-access malware and later used the stolen credentials for on-chain transactions.

The attacker moved about 141.18 million H on Ethereum and minted roughly 100 million H on BNB Smart Chain. Sales through Uniswap and PancakeSwap pushed the open-market price down about 89%. Quantstamp estimated losses near $32 million.

The investigation identified an operational-security failure rather than a disclosed flaw in the H token contract. Humanity then deployed a new audited ERC-20 contract. It also introduced a 1:1 replacement plan using balances recorded before the incident.

Bitget completed the contract swap on June 22 and resumed deposits and withdrawals. The process settled the migration nearly two months before the current rally. Therefore, it does not provide a new catalyst for the August move.

Humanity develops Proof of Trust tools for private checks of age, residency, employment, and compliance status. Yet price momentum alone does not measure adoption. Enterprise deployments, usage data, or new security controls would provide clearer evidence.
