GTA 6 rumours never fail to excite fans! With so much happening around the hugely popular gaming franchise, a new leak suggests that Rockstar Games is developing significantly larger multiplayer lobbies for Grand Theft Auto 6 Online. In a Medium report from Fravilys, GTA 6’s online mode, allegedly codenamed GTA6MP, will include 64-player servers.
Internal testing is in progress to support up to 96 players. If accurate, this would mean that Rockstar Games is improving on the existing 30-player limit in GTA 5 Online.
One of the more interesting promises is that GTA 6 Online will feature minimal to zero loading times. According to Fravilys, players will seamlessly transition between free-roam sessions and multiplayer activities without needing to reload.
This would be a change from the broken and heavily loaded GTA Online experience that players have grown accustomed to.
The report implies that GTA6MP is ahead now in terms of development compared to how GTA Online was at the time of GTA 5’s release. These include infrastructure improvements, session stability, and less stutter in cross-session player interactions.
The year 2023 witnessed Rockstar collaborating with Cfx.re, the team behind FiveM, the most well-known mod for GTA roleplay. No official confirmation has been given regarding the incorporation of FiveM into the sixth edition of the franchise. The nature and timing of the acquisition bring the possibility of native mechanics or server support for RP into focus.
FiveM is renowned for its large, persistent servers, which host hundreds of players. This aligns with the new server capacity rumors.

There are some previously seen mechanics, like going prone, that won’t cut anymore. Fravilys asserts that Rockstar has completely removed the feature, although it was visible in the massive 2022 leak. Other details, such as 700+ interactive stores, a weapon wheel with limited options, and a five-chapter campaign structure, are still circulating in the rumor mill.
While the rumors are compelling, Fravilys has no established history in terms of Rockstar leaks. Until officially announced, the information is nothing but a speculation. Despite Rockstar's recent actions and industry trends, the path appears plausible, and fans eagerly await confirmation.
