Rapper Travis Scott has seemingly hinted at his involvement in Grand Theft Auto 6, and fans are convinced he plays a role in Rockstar Games' upcoming release. In his new music video for ‘2000 Excursion’, there’s a brief shot of him standing next to a Ferrari with the license plate reading "GTA VI6."

This moment appears at the 3:55 timestamp and has gone viral, with fans interpreting it as an intentional nod to the game.

Is Travis Scott Going to Feature in GTA 6?

Speculation is now becoming overwhelming. Travis Scott is a popular figure among gamers, having made headlines with his record-breaking ‘Astronomical’ concert in Fortnite, which attracted over 12 million players.

He is also known for teasing game appearances. Fans are speculating that he might make an appearance in GTA 6, possibly as a character, voiceover actor, or collaborator on the game’s soundtrack.

What Other Celebrities Are Rumoured to Be in GTA 6?

Travis Scott’s not the only performer who’s rumored to be involved in GTA 6. Producer and rapper Jermaine Dupri mentioned that Drake would get his radio station in the game. He told us that even Drake will be able to upload exclusive material to the game before anyone else gets a chance to listen elsewhere.

In another leak, it was alleged that DJ Khaled is also to receive an in-game radio station of his own. If this turns out to be the case, it would keep Rockstar’s legacy of having high-profile artists on GTA’s in-house radio network.

What Has Rockstar Officially Confirmed Regarding GTA 6?

Not much. Rockstar Games has maintained most official details in secrecy. Industry insiders and leakers have brought out pieces and bits of expected details, though.

One of the most shared leaks this week reports that GTA 6 Online will be able to handle 64 players per server, twice as many as GTA Online can handle.

The same source reported that Rockstar is testing 96 players at a single sitting, making it one of the biggest online multiplayer games ever made.

When Is GTA 6 Finally Dropping?

Rockstar pushed back the release of the game recently. GTA 6 was initially planned for Fall 2025, but now the studio said it will come out on May 26, 2026. The game will release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and is being developed with Rockstar’s potent RAGE engine

The pushback, said Rockstar, is to make sure the ultimate product is good enough to meet fans’ very high standards.

Should Fans Take These Rumors Seriously?

As ever with Rockstar games, all these teases and leaks must be approached with a dose of skepticism. If Travis Scott, Drake, or DJ Khaled are mentioned, they will probably be under non-disclosure agreements. Nothing is certain until Rockstar Games comes out and says it.

Hype surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6 keeps building. If these celebrity rumors are to be believed, it might just be the most celebrity-packed game in the series so far.
