According to reports, Google Pixel 9a price details have been leaked online. A German retailer has priced the 128GB model at EUR 549 (about Rs. 52,000). A UAE classified listing, on the other hand, tips an AED 2,350 (about Rs. 56,000) price tag. The listing also suggests that shipping is expected to start in 10-14 days, forecasting an early official launch.
The Pixel 9a may come with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ OLED screen and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It might be driven by Google's Tensor G4 chipset, along with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The phone is said to pack a 5,100mAh battery and operate on Android 15, with seven years of updates guaranteed.
The phone could feature a 48MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide sensor, and a 13MP selfie camera. A hands-on Pixel 9a video reveals that it features a plastic rear, visible bezels, and does not have Google's characteristic camera bump. Camera samples in the video indicate decent detail preservation in daylight but poor low-light video performance. This video is circulating on YouTube:
The Tensor G4 chipset looks suitable for ordinary operations and simple games. However, during serious gaming, it registers performance lag for the reviewer. The handset comes equipped with stereo speakers, giving its multimedia entertainment specs a boost.
The Pixel 9a is due for release on March 19, although Google officially has not yet announced the date. If the leaked prices become a reality, it will go against other mid-range mobile phones, like Samsung's Galaxy A series and Apple's iPhone SE range.
