Google’s upcoming foldable smartphone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, has started appearing in early leaks ahead of its expected launch later this year. Reports suggest the company may focus on refining the existing foldable experience with better performance, improved battery life, and stronger AI features instead of introducing a major redesign.
The device is expected to launch alongside the Pixel 11 series, which may include the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL. Current leaks point to an August or September 2026 launch timeline, in line with Google’s recent Pixel release schedule.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is likely to remain one of Google’s most expensive smartphones in India. Leaks suggest the foldable could start at around Rs. 1,59,999, while higher storage variants may cost significantly more. This would place the smartphone in direct competition with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold lineup and other premium foldables entering the Indian market.
The biggest upgrade may come in the form of Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 chipset. Reports claim the processor could offer improved thermal efficiency and battery optimization compared to previous Tensor chips.
Google is also expected to continue expanding its AI features across the Pixel lineup. Tools related to voice processing, image editing, live translation, and on-device AI tasks may remain central to the Pixel experience.
Leaks suggest the Pixel 11 Pro Fold could offer up to 16GB RAM and storage options going up to 1TB. The smartphone is also expected to run Android 16 or Android 17 out of the box.
Google may not change the overall design language of the Pixel Fold series this year. Instead, the company expects smaller refinements such as a slimmer hinge, thinner bezels, and a lighter body.
The inner foldable display may measure 8 inches and support high refresh rates of up to 120Hz. Reports also suggest the screen could offer significantly higher peak brightness levels than the previous generation. The outer cover display may remain around 6.4 inches, allowing regular smartphone use without unfolding the device.

Google is expected to focus heavily on camera performance. The latest leaks suggest a triple rear camera module comprising a main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens.
The battery might hold more than 5,000 mAh, while fast charging support and wireless charging are other features likely to be included. All specifications mentioned so far are based on industry expectations and leaks. The tech giant has not made any official announcements about Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
